Home How It Works

Our Process

From first call to complete project — simple, rugged, and built to last.

Step-By-Step

From Call to Complete in 3 Steps

01. Get an Estimate

Give us a call, text photos of the job, or submit a request online. You will speak directly with an experienced welder who understands the technical details of your project and will provide a straightforward estimate.

02. We Mobile Out

We schedule a time and roll our mobile rig directly to your location in Greater Houston. We arrive fully prepared with the correct steel profiles, welding electrodes, and safety equipment, ready to strike an arc.

03. AWS Code Execution

We prep the joints, bevel the steel, lay clean structural beads, clean the slag, and apply a rust-resistant primer. We verify the weld with you on-site to ensure it meets our strict quality standards before we pack up.

What to Prepare Before Edgar Arrives

Our mobile welding rigs are fully self-sufficient and independent of utilities. To help us hit the ground running, we recommend preparing the following:

  • Clear the Work Zone: Secure a minimum 10-foot clearance around the structural frame or repair site for leads and safety screens.
  • Ranch & Agricultural Safety: Secure livestock, horses, or pets away from the sparks and weld flash workspace.
  • Weld Prep: If possible, scrape off heavy mud or manure from the steel target area. We handle the grinding, rust-removal, and paint-stripping.

State-Of-The-Art Equipment

The Mobile Workshop

We bring the capabilities of a full-scale fabrication shop directly to your location. Here is what our self-sufficient rig is equipped with:

Self-Powered Generators

Our rigs carry heavy-duty, commercial-grade generators. We do not require access to your power outlets—we strike arcs and run grinders entirely off our own independent power supply.

Multi-Process Capability

Equipped for SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW (Flux-Cored) welding. We select the optimal process for your specific material grade and environment, ensuring AWS code compliance.

On-Site Metal Prep

Equipped with oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and high-performance beveling grinders. We clean, cut, and prep the joints on-site to ensure maximum weld penetration.
